Hello.
My name is Susie and I am The Last Biscuit.
I started this blog in June 2009 as a record of the ways I was changing my life to be greener, which is what I still write about. I also use this space to share my general ramblings, crafty things I've been making, positivity, photos I've taken and the other things that ping around my brain. But mostly the focus is on eco-friendly living and my own personal journey towards becoming asecofriendlyashumanlypossible.
This was my first post.
Still want to know more about me?
I'm in my very mid-twenties. I studied English Literature at University and then did a post grad. certificate in Education to be an Early Years teacher. This was enough to put me off teaching for life and I currently work as a Library Assistant and I volunteer with the National Trust and with a Global Development Education Centre.
I live in a lovely town in the midlands of England with my Mum (who's very kindly letting me stay with her until I become a proper grown up) and my Giant African Land Snail (he's called fluffy).
I like glittery things, sunsets, playing guitar, poi, vegan cake, gardening, westons cider, doing nothing, boys with long hair, crocheting, Charlie and Lola, charity shops, singing, British seasides, making up words, drawing, being giddy, playdough, beards, animal-rights-ism, fairy wings, costume dramas, twinkly stars, retro-ness, reading, Dr Who, sewing, popcorn, recycling, going to the theatre, music, travelling and many more things.
Hi Susie - Just stumbled onto your blog and think it is pretty neat! I like the things you listed that you liked. Very cute! I'm into green things too and it's been interesting. Can't wait to read the rest of your blog... ;-)
ReplyDeleteMuch love, Carolyn
Hi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting and for your lovely comment! I'm looking forward to checking out your site too! xx
I am also mid twenties, an eco blogger, and was once a student of English. Although I'm not a vegan it would seem we have much in common!
ReplyDeleteHi Joddle! Nice to meet me, I mean you...we do seem to have a lot in common :D
